After spending many years teaching diving on Koh Tao at different diving centers, I have found that teaching smaller groups produces better divers. If you are looking to do an Open Water Course, you want to have your instructor’s attention in case you need his assistance. Also, some people need a bit more time than other people when learning all the skills required to become a diver. You never want to feel pressured or rushed during your course. This also applies to certified divers too who want to go fun diving. Not only do you want to have the divemaster to have the time to show you all the best attractions of a dive site, but you also don’t want to be bumping into other divers as you swim around! This is why we have small groups at Roctopus Dive…..to give you the best possible diving experience!!!
