Roctopus Dive set off early on the 6th of August headed for the famous Ang Thong Marine Park. We had a diverse mix of nationalities on board and was a festive group from the start!
We arrived at around 11am and then people were free to explore, some went kayaking, some chilled on the beach, snorkled and the more adventurous went for a hike up to the viewpoint (next time, we wear walking shoes, not flip flops!)
After a sun filled day, people either chose tents or bungalows to overnight in, the choice is yours! Then dinner at the fabulous little restaurant. Many of the day trippers are long gone by now and the park is almost deserted at this time, perfect for relaxing.
The next morning was a leisurley breakfast and a cruise through the park’s many islands to end up at the northernmost islands, Koh Wao and Koh Yippon, with its amazing swim through and good macro environment.
After some good diving and happy snorklers, we headed back to Koh Tao!
