Rock Climbing
Goodtime Adventures is the place to go for climbing. It is the only place on the island to specialize in outdoor activities. Wake Boarding
Goodtime adventures have their own speed boat which can be hired for wake boarding, fund dives, and snorkeling trips. www.gtadventures.com
Cliff Jumping
On the east side of the island is the small beach Laem Thian. Here you can go cliff jumping (jumps vary in height from easy to scary). The beach is a 45 min walk from Sairee, or a short taxi ride.
Motorbike
Driving around Koh Tao is great fun. You can find many small deserted beaches, and also amazing views of the island. BE CAREFUL…….the charges for any damage made to the bike are extremely high. Price is around 200 Baht for a small moped, 300 baht for a motorbike, and 500 baht for a ATV.

Mini Golf/Bowling
Located just past Mae Haad on the main road is the Mini Golf & Bowling. This is a great place to come after a busy day diving.
Snorkeling
If you have a free afternoon, there are plenty of great places to go snorkeling. Shark Bay is good for seeing Black-tip reef sharks (south Koh Tao). Hin Wong bay offers many boulders to explore & Mango bay is also a good choice.
Koh Nanguan
Take a taxi boat from Sairee beach (around 400 baht per person there and back) and see Koh Nanguan. This is a stunning island to see and well worth a visit. Good snorkeling is available, and there is a small restaurant.
Thai Art
Get a TATTOO
Thai Art (located at the top of the ‘up road’ in Mae Haad) is one of the best tattooists in south east asia. So if you want a long lasting memento of your time spent in Thailand….give it a go. Just to let all you divers know, you should not dive for at least a week after a tattoo. However if you get a bamboo tattoo (takes a lot longer) it doesn’t scab as much so the recovery time is less, meaning you can get wet sooner.
Monsoon Gym
Muay Thai
Located in Sairee (up the road from the 7-11 at the main cross roads) at Monsoon Gym, the Muay Thai takes place every two week. You will know when the next date is due to a loud speaker that drives around the day before……very annoying! It starts at around 9pm, costs 500 Baht, and is well worth a visit. If you’re desperate to find out when the next fight date is inquire at the Monsoon Gym.
Pool
There are many places you can play Pool around Koh Tao. Most of the bars have pool tables, however you may have to wait until it is free. Captain Nemos in Mae Haad is a large Pool hall. It has many good quality tables and is a nice place to relax.
